Boran's Notes
I had been very nervous before this trip, for reasons unknown to me.
Planned to visit Norderney, but then I had doubts whether I could safely approach the island through shallow water and potentially waves that build up high and break.
I changed the plan and continued sailing Southwest, which allowed me a approach with crosswind. Also the strong wind calmed down a bit by the time I reached Vlieland.
Effectively crossed the German Bight.

- almost fell of deck
- massive wave struck me
Lessons learned
- clip the life line sooner to prevent falling overboard
- carry the InReach on my body at all times, so I can call for help if I fall overboard
